The “Skunkanator” was called out to the Culver City area of Los Angeles for a skunk Removal. The skunks were getting in under the house and tearing up the insulation and stinking the house up really bad. The home owners daughter was sent home from school because she smelt like skunk. I set up five traps and the next day the traps were full of skunks. This week Animal Capture Wildlife Control was called out to a home in Pacific Palisades because of a skunk odor under the home. When I arrived at the home the homeowner stated he thought it was a live skunk under the home, but I did not find an opening for a skunk to get under the home. He then told me he sealed it up about two or three weeks ago and I told him there was probably a dead skunk under the home. Then when I pulled the cover off to go under the home, there was a bunch of flies that came flying out. I went under a sure enough I found a dead skunk. The dead skunk was removed and the job was complete. This week Animal Capture Wildlife Control was called out to a home in Bakersfield because they had skunks living under a shed and their dog was sprayed by a skunk. I came out and did an inspection of the property and set up three traps. I trapped nine skunks in four days. The client said that was enough for now because they thought now they might be trapping the neighborhood skunks. The client was amazed there was that many skunks around their home. The job is complete and she was extemely pleased. Today Animal Capture Wildlife Control was called out to a residence in the Granada Hills area of Los Angeles. I had been trapping at this residence for a week now because the dog was attacked by a raccoon. Today they called me and told me I had three skunks in one trap. It is not uncommon to trap two animal in a trap at the same time, but three is pretty rare. These animal get trapped in the same trap together because they eat so close together. In this case it was a mother skunk and two of her babies. The skunks were taken to a nice place with plenty of water and food to grow up together and released.
