Today Animal Capture Wildlife Control was called out to NCIS Studios in Valencia for a raccoon on stage in a locked room inside the studio. They said that the raccoon had entered the stage area sometime last night and it appeared injured. I came out to remove the raccoon and the raccoon barely moved. When I approached the raccoon to put the catch-all pole around his neck he just lifted his head. As I tightened it up, the raccoon went crazy. He started throwing his body everywhere and a creamy white liquid squirted out of his body everywhere. I have never seen this before. Then he started bleeding everywhere and throwing blood everywhere. It was gross. I removed him from the studio and it was clear that something was wrong with him. I unfortunately had to euthinize him. I was sad, but happy to free him of his pain. He is in a batter place now.
