The “Skunkanator” was called out to the Culver City area of Los Angeles for a skunk Removal. The skunks were getting in under the house and tearing up the insulation and stinking the house up really bad. The home owners daughter was sent home from school because she smelt like skunk. I set up five traps and the next day the traps were full of skunks. Five in total in one day. This is why they call me the “Skunkanator!” I specialize in skunk removal from under homes, sheds, and inside homes. I was also featured on the show “Dirty Jobs” on the discovery channel for removing skunks. Some would say I am immune to the smell, but I tell them…”to me, it’s the smell of money!” I tell people if you can’t see me coming, you can smell me coming! LOL! People ask me all the time “how do you get rid of the smell?” I use a product called “Skunk Off.” It works great! It was chemically made in a lab to eliminate the odor, not just cover it up! It is totally safe for humans, dogs, and anything else you need it for. I use it all the time! So if you have a skunk issue, you know who to call! I service most of Southern California from Los Angeles to Bakersfield. This week Animal Capture Wildlife Control was called out to a home in the Eagle Rock area of Los Angeles because of raccoon babies in the attic. When I arrived the mother was no where to be found when I went into the attic and the babies had a very weak chatter. That made me think the mom hasn’t been around for at least two or three days. The baby raccoons were also very cold. I removed the baby raccoons and sealed up the attic. The baby raccoons were taken to a wildlife rehab to be raised and released into the wild. Raccoon On Roof In Hancock Park, Raccoon On Roof in Los Angeles

trapped raccoon pv 300x225 Raccoon On Roof In Hancock Park, Raccoon On Roof in Los Angeles

Yesterday I had a client call me out to the Hancock park area of Los Angeles because a raccoon was nesting in the eves of the roof where one roof overlaps another. There is a big space that goes four feet back in the roof and the raccoon has turned it into his home. I went on the roof to do an inspection to find the raccoon nesting in there. I backed off because it was 30 feet off the ground and on the edge of the roof. I set up some traps around the trees where the raccoon was accessing the roof. These raccoons are able to access peoples roofs from trees touching the roof line, climbing awnings, as well as shrubs that touch the roof. These are all ladders to the roof line. Se called me today to tell me I trapped the raccoon. I came out to remove it and did another roof inspection. The raccoon I caught was the one nesting in the eves. I removed the nest and the job was finished.

Trapped Skunk Living Under Home In Malibu, Skunks Living Under Home In Los Angeles

Yesterday Animal Capture Wildlife Control was called out to a home in Malibu for a skunk stinking up the house. The house smelled so bad the baby was sent home from daycare because he stunk the daycare up like skunk. I came out to find the home stunk really bad of skunk odor. I did an inspection and found the skunk had torn off the crawlspace cover where a human would access the under floor. I checked the under floor for damage, droppings, and entry points. There was quite a bit of droppings under the home. Other than that there was no damage other than the skunk odor. I set up some traps at the entry points and today she called me and let me know we caught one skunk. I never set the traps under the home because when the skunk gets trapped and I come to get him a lot of times the skunk will spray and it will stink the house up all over again. I set the traps only right at the access points outside the home. One skunk caught and I left the traps to see if there were more. I usually go three to five days with nothing in the traps, then you know nothing else is under the house and we seal it up. Yesterday I had a client call me out because she thought a opossum was in the attic. I came out to do an inspection and went in the attic and as soon as I went in the attic I heard chattering. When I hear chattering, I immediately know it’s raccoon babies.  I then set up three traps outside.  I received a call from the client today telling me there was nothing in the traps.  I then told her the raccoon might have not came out last night and I would just go in today and physically remove the family of raccoons.  This is the most dangerous situation I deal with because a mother raccoon will fully charge and attack you to defend her babies. I went into the attic to find the mother raccoon in a corner. I slowly approached her with my catch-all pole. When I got within reach of her I put the catch-all pole in her face and she immedietly attacked the pole.  She was playing tug of war with the pole. She would tuck her head down aginst the wall so I was not able to slip the pole around her neck. She eventually moved her head and I only had one chance to get her and I did.  She then started freaking out, growling, scratching, and biting the pole. She was mad!!! I got her from the attic, down through the house, and outside toput her in a trap.  I then had to go back in there and physically remove the babies. There was five baby raccoons in the nest. I removed them and brought them outside. I put them in a separate trap because the mom is still in defense mode and will attack her own babies.  I then took the out to a nearby forest area, put the babies in a box,put a t-shirt under them and angled the trap up the tree and she came out up the tree. I them took off so when she comes down she will move the raccoon babies to a den and find herself a new home. I will go back tomorrow to check and make sure they are gone.  We are the best raccoon removal company in all of Los Angeles. We also specialize in removing raccoons from attics and under floors. Call us for more information at (310) 551-0901 or check out out website at animalcapturewildlifecontrol.com

Bat Removal Los Angeles

Bat removal 0021 283x300 Bat Removal Los Angeles

Today I had a client call me because she said a bat was in her living room.  She said when she came home on her lunch break as soon as she came in the front door the bat started dive bombing her. She said she slept with her sliding glass door open last night and she thought that it had came in through the open door. I went to her house and knocked on the door and there was no answer.  I called her and she said she had locked herself in the bathroom and to just come in and remove the bat.  I came in to find the bat attached to the light fixture in her living room. I put on a glove and went up to the bat and grabbed it and put him in a container. I then went outside and released him. The lady had locked the door in the bathroom and had a towel under the door so the bat wouldn’t come in and get her…lol.  Another successful bat removal at Animal Capture Wildlife Control.  Contact the best company in Los Angeles for bat removal at (310) 551-0901.
