The “Skunkanator” was called out to the Culver City area of Los Angeles for a skunk Removal. The skunks were getting in under the house and tearing up the insulation and stinking the house up really bad. The home owners daughter was sent home from school because she smelt like skunk. I set up five traps and the next day the traps were full of skunks. Five in total in one day. This is why they call me the “Skunkanator!” I specialize in skunk removal from under homes, sheds, and inside homes. I was also featured on the show “Dirty Jobs” on the discovery channel for removing skunks. Some would say I am immune to the smell, but I tell them…”to me, it’s the smell of money!” I tell people if you can’t see me coming, you can smell me coming! LOL! People ask me all the time “how do you get rid of the smell?” I use a product called “Skunk Off.” It works great! It was chemically made in a lab to eliminate the odor, not just cover it up! It is totally safe for humans, dogs, and anything else you need it for. I use it all the time! So if you have a skunk issue, you know who to call! I service most of Southern California from Los Angeles to Bakersfield. Here is a chance for everyone to see how it is when there are skunks, raccoons, opossums and other wildlife living in your home. Here at Animal Capture Wildlife Control we specialize in humane wildlife removal from properties. We cover most of southern California from Los Angeles to Bakersfield. Raccoon Babies Removed in Los Angeles, Raccoon Babies Removed in Eagle Rock

This week Animal Capture Wildlife Control was called out to a home in the Eagle Rock area of Los Angeles because of raccoon babies in the attic. When I arrived the mother was no where to be found when I went into the attic and the babies had a very weak chatter. That made me think the mom hasn’t been around for at least two or three days. The baby raccoons were also very cold. I removed the baby raccoons and sealed up the attic. The baby raccoons were taken to a wildlife rehab to be raised and released into the wild. For more information on raccoons in the attic, raccoon removal in Los Angeles, raccoon trapping in Los Angeles, and baby raccoon removal check out our website animalcapturewildlifecontrol.com or contact us at (310) 551-0901.

This week I had a client Animal Capture Wildlife Control out to Rancho Palos Verdes for a dead animal removal. The client stated they smelled a dead animal in the heating duct unit at the vent and opened the vent and there was a dead rat lying right there. They removed the dead rat themselves and still smelled a dead animal smell so they asked me to come out and do an under floor inspection. When I arrived I went under the home to inspect and found a huge rat problem. Not only was there a rat problem, but there was a major heating unit problem. The air duct system was a disaster. There was air ducts disconnected everywhere. The rats would enter in the air ducts atthe points they were open and run through the system defecating and urinating though out the system. They also would get lost and stuck in there and die. I ended up finding a huge rats nest on top of the heating unit. There was many rat droppings, bird feathers, fruit cores, and snail shells the rats had been eating. I then found a dead cat that had been under there for a very long time. I also found a dead rat under the home that was smelling and covered in maggots. The crazy thing is the client had just bought the home and has only lived there two weeks. The home should have never passed the pest inspection. Also, the inspection should have noticed the heating unit was a disaster. Guess you never know what your really getting! dirty jobs1 300x225 ANIMAL CAPTURE ON DIRTY JOBS ON DISCOVERY 4/24 AT 6 & 9 PM (ANIMAL CONTROL SPECIALIST)

WILL BE ON DIRTY JOBS oN 4/24 AT 6 & 9

On Janurary 5, 2010 Jeremy from Animal Capture Wildlife Control appeared on Dirty Jobs on the Discovery channelAnimal  Capture Wildlife Control was on there to do skunk removal, raccoon removal, opossum removal, and dead animal removal.  The first home on the show we removed a dead skunk from under the home.  The smell was intense and the skunk was covered in maggots.  Then we also trapped a skunk that was removed from the under floor.  It sprayed us many times.  The homes under floor was sealed up and the skunk was released.  The next place we did was an apartment building in West Hollywood.  This place was crawling with animals.  We removed a skunk, raccoon, opossum, and many dead animal carcasses.  We went under the building to do an inspection to see where the animals were going in and out, see if any damage was done, and see if we found any more animals.  We sealed up the building and released the animals.  It was a great expierence working with Mike Rowe.  I get many questions about Mike Rowe, but the number one question “is Mike a nice guy and the same as he is on tv?”  The answer is yes.  He is such a nice guy and down to earth. He is very whitty and always having a good time.  Him and his crew are a great bunch of guys.  They are always pulling pranks on eachother.  If you would like to see Animal Capture Wildlife Control on Dirty Jobs click link http://dsc.discovery.com/videos/dirty-jobs-animal-control/

Skunk Removal In Santa Monica, Skunk Trapped In Santa Monica

skunk trapped 300x225 Skunk Removal In Santa Monica, Skunk Trapped In Santa Monica

Today I had a client call me out because she had a skunk in the trap I set yesterday in Santa Monica. I set up some traps around her home because she had skunks living under her home and tearing up the grass. These skunks tear up the lawn because they are eating the grubs and worms in the grass. The skunks especiallytear up sod that is new because it is loaded with grubs under the sod. The skunks roll it back like carpet and can destroy the sod so much so that you might need to replace it. I have people that stake chicken wire over the whole grass because the skunks tear it up so much. The skunks will just keep coming back until you trap them and get rid of them. Another thing about skunks is if they are under your home and have a litter, they are like salmon. The babies disperse out and when they are ready to have thier babies they come back to where they were born. So you definetly need to trap and get rid of them before they just keep multiplying. I trap and relocate the animals in the most humane way possible. We never hurt the animals. For more information on skunk trapping and skunk removal in Santa Monica call Jeremy Bailey at Animal Capture Wildlife Control at (310) 551-0901 or check out out website at animalcapturewildlifecontrol.com

Opossum Mother & Babies Removed From Home In Monrovia, Opossum Removal In Los Angeles County

baby opossums 001 225x300 Opossum Mother & Babies Removed From Home In Monrovia, Opossum Removal In Los Angeles County

Animal Capture Wildlife Control was called out to Monrovia because a family of opossums were nesting on the front porch. The client came out of her house this morning and a family of opossums were there to greet her. She opened the door to find a mother opossum and three babies hanging out behind a planter. She would not come out of her house until I came and removed the opossums. I responded right away and grabbed the mother opossum and the babies scattered. I put the mother in a trap and went to round up the babies. I had to chase the babies all over the front yard. The client was watching through the window laughing so hard. I finally rounded up the all of the baby opossums and put them in with their mother. Wen I put them in the trap they instantly jumped on their moms back. Another successful opossum removal in Monrovia for Animal Capture Wildlife Control. For more information on opossum removal and opossums check out our website at animalcapturewildlifecontrol.com or call Jeremy Bailey at (310) 551-0901.

Raccoon On Roof In Hancock Park, Raccoon On Roof in Los Angeles

trapped raccoon pv 300x225 Raccoon On Roof In Hancock Park, Raccoon On Roof in Los Angeles

Yesterday I had a client call me out to the Hancock park area of Los Angeles because a raccoon was nesting in the eves of the roof where one roof overlaps another. There is a big space that goes four feet back in the roof and the raccoon has turned it into his home. I went on the roof to do an inspection to find the raccoon nesting in there. I backed off because it was 30 feet off the ground and on the edge of the roof. I set up some traps around the trees where the raccoon was accessing the roof. These raccoons are able to access peoples roofs from trees touching the roof line, climbing awnings, as well as shrubs that touch the roof. These are all ladders to the roof line. Se called me today to tell me I trapped the raccoon. I came out to remove it and did another roof inspection. The raccoon I caught was the one nesting in the eves. I removed the nest and the job was finished.
